Last weekend, Alex Escrig faced one of the most demanding Grand Prix of the season at the Mugello circuit, a technical and fast track that did not allow the Valencian rider to show his true potential.
From the start of the weekend, Alex struggled to find the right feeling with his bike, a situation that affected both the practice sessions and qualifying on Saturday, where he finished on the ninth row of the grid.
In the race, Escrig crossed the finish line in 24th position after a race in which he had to manage a lack of confidence with the front end and a pace that did not live up to his expectations.
"The weekend started off uphill for us. I couldn't find the feeling with the bike from the beginning. It was a bit of a difficult race, but at least I was able to keep the position. Now we have to work to get back to the level we were at before Le Mans. We have to stay positive and focused. Thanks to all the team and sponsors for the constant support," said Alex after the race.
With his eyes already set on the next round of the championship, the Spanish rider is preparing for the Dutch GP, which will take place next week at the Assen circuit. The objective: to recover his sensations and get back to fighting for more competitive positions.
