Building results: Alex Escrig takes another step forward in Austria

Last weekend, the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg hosted a Grand Prix that was as spectacular as it was demanding, and Alex Escrig once again demonstrated his determination by finishing the race in 19th position, very close to the points zone in one of the most competitive grids in the Moto2 championship.

With more than twenty drivers lapping within less than a second during practice, each session became a real battle to find the ideal pace. Although the start of the race was not the most favourable for Alex, the Valencian driver managed to maintain a solid and consistent pace, proving once again that the potential is there.

Alex Escrig: ‘After this weekend, we're close, but still not close enough. The pace is good, but when you don't get off to a good start, it's hard to catch up. We have to keep working and the results will come. We still have a long way to go. See you in Balaton!’

The young KLINT Forward Factory Team rider is not giving up. His analytical skills and self-criticism make it clear that he is focused on continuing to progress, aware that constant work will pay off in the medium term.

Now, with no time to rest, it's time to look ahead: the next stop will be Balaton Park in Hungary, a historic event as it is the first time the World Championship has visited this track. It will be a new opportunity to continue refining sensations and get even closer to that coveted top 15.
