The KLINT Forward Factory Team celebrated its first major success of the season at the Grand Prix of Argentina, with Alex Escrig excelling as a protagonist at the Termas de Rio Hondo track. The Spanish rider had an impressive weekend, achieving his best qualifying to date and scoring his first points of the season.
Escrig surprised everyone with an exceptional qualifying, reaching fourth position on the grid and securing his place on the second row for the race. A remarkable result, considering it was his debut on the Argentinean circuit. In the race, despite not having the best start and losing some positions in the first laps, Alex kept calm and focused, fighting in the leading group to finally finish in seventh position, a result that reflects his determination and speed.
"I learned a lot from this race. I didn't have a good start, and in the first corner I went a bit long and lost some positions. However, I stayed focused, defended my position and was smart to overtake at the right time. I knew I had the speed and the potential, and this result is very rewarding for all the hard work and difficult moments we have faced. Now we must look to the future, keep working and trust that we are capable of doing this. Thanks to everyone who is close to me, to the team and to the sponsors who support us, see you in Austin," said a happy Alex Escrig after the race.
With the first points of the season under their belt and performance on the rise, the KLINT Forward Factory Team now prepares for the next challenge: the Grand Prix of the Americas, to be held from 28-30 March in Austin, Texas.
